2. Website delivery and server logs
When you visit this website, information technically required to deliver the site may be sent to the web server. This may include your IP address, access date and time, requested URL or file, HTTP status, browser/device information and, where available, the referring page. We process this information to deliver the site, investigate faults and maintain security under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests). It is retained only as long as needed for these purposes, or longer where a specific security incident legally justifies retention. Hosting infrastructure is supplied by Hetzner Online GmbH, which may process data necessary to provide the service.
3. Email enquiries
If you email us, we process your address and the information you provide to answer your enquiry or prepare a potential project. Our mailbox is provided by IONOS, and incoming emails are also forwarded to a mailbox at GMX (1&1 Mail & Media GmbH). The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other business communications. We delete enquiries when no longer needed, subject to statutory retention duties or legitimate evidentiary needs.
4. Telephone enquiries
When you call us, we process the details you provide and, where applicable, your telephone number to handle your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Telephone connection data may be processed independently by the telecommunications providers involved. The website does not record calls.
5. WhatsApp
This website includes a voluntary WhatsApp direct link (wa.me) rather than an embedded chat widget. Before you follow the link, the website does not transfer data to WhatsApp through the link. Clicking opens the external WhatsApp service, which may process technical information. If you message us, we process your phone number, profile name and message to handle your enquiry under Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. WhatsApp Ireland Limited provides the service for users in the EEA and may transfer data outside the EEA. See the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. Email and telephone are available alternatives. Please do not share sensitive information via WhatsApp.
6. Cookies and external content
In its current version, this website uses no analytics or advertising cookies, tracking services, externally loaded web fonts or embedded social-media plugins. Language versions use ordinary links. This setup does not require a cookie-consent banner. If the technologies change, this notice will be updated and any required consent collected.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Data may be processed by Hetzner, IONOS and GMX where necessary for hosting and email, and by WhatsApp only if you use that service. Other transfers take place only where legally required or necessary for an enquiry. Data transfers outside the EEA may occur in connection with WhatsApp; please refer to the provider information above.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (16), erasure (17), restriction (18), data portability (20), and objection to legitimate-interest processing (21). You may withdraw consent for the future where consent is the legal basis. You may complain to a data-protection authority (Article 77 GDPR), in particular the Baden-Württemberg Data Protection Authority. Contact us using the details above.
9. Voluntary provision and automated decisions
You can view the website without actively submitting personal information; certain connection data are technically necessary when accessing the site. Contacting us is voluntary. To answer your enquiry, however, we need a means to contact you and the details required to handle your request. We do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
10. Updates
This notice reflects the website and contact channels described above and will be updated if services, processing or legal requirements change. Last updated: 23 October 2026.
